The American Association of Colombian Engineers was born as a result of the desire for unified representation of professionals with similar ideologies, beliefs and philosophy, engaged in a variety of job occupations in different engineering and architectural firms.
The outcome of this desire was our commitment to organize several meetings to define, clarify and develop our goals and objectives, which later became the fundamental basis for the By-Laws of the Association.
AACE became a non-profit organization registered in the state of Florida under Articles of Incorporation in March 2, 2000. The Board initially approved the By-Laws of the Association on October 19, 2001.
Engineers, Architects and professionals of related fields as well as engineering and architectural students are encouraged to join us in building a path for professional integration plus promoting cultural, scientific and technological exchange between the United States and the Republic of Colombia.
